Middle School Math Instructor

This year I will be teaching 6th, 7th, and 8th grade math classes. We were fortunate enough to get new textbooks this year. With this also came a lot more technology. Under my links page, you will be able to access the textbook online and also get a personal tutor. This tutor will guide you through practice problems, which will then help with homework. So, no more excuses for not doing homework!

Who I am: I have lived in La Harpe for 5 years with my husband, Josh. We have a son, Keagan, who will be a year in September. Before moving to Illinois, I grew up on a farm in New London, Iowa where I graduated high school. Then I attended Western Illinois University and received my BA in education. I am currently attending WIU for a masters in Reading Specialist.

My hobbies inlcude walking, biking (had my first ragbraii experience this year), gardening, and playing with my son. My number one hobby is rooting on the IOWA HAWKEYE football team. My husband and I travel to Iowa City on Saturdays to watch many of the home games. GO HAWKEYES!
