Dallas City Elementary School—a partnership of unified staff, families, and community—supports and challenges students academically in a respectful, safe, and caring environment and employs innovative programs and technology to provide individual students with the knowledge, skills, and desire they need to be life-long learners and well-rounded, productive members of society.

Important Announcements

The State of Illinois owes our school $119,503.35

2010-2011 School Year Registration: Monday, August 2 from Noon until 7:30 p.m. and Tuesday, August 3 from 8:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

Registration forms are available on the website if you would like to fill out, print and bring them with you to save time.

PARENTS: Students going into the following grades in August will need:

Kindergarten: Physical and Immunizations, Vision Exam and Dental Exam - All MUST be on Illinois forms - and Birth Certificate. MUST have ALL by October 15.

Second Grade: Dental Exam - MUST be on an Illinois form.

Fifth Grade: Sports physical if playing any sports.

Sixth Grade: Physical and Immunizations and Dental Exam - All MUST be on Illinois forms. MUST have ALL by October 15.

Seventh Grade: Sports physical if playing sports.

Eighth Grade: Sports physical if playing sports.

Any student entering an Illinois school from out of state must have those items that are listed under kindergarten requirements.

All forms needed may be picked up at the elementary office or downloaded from the forms section of our website.
